What are MLS listings?

MLS stands for Multiple Listing Service. Essentially, it's a database containing information on every listed home in a specific area. In Lake Arrowhead, for example, the MLS contains listings for all Lake Arrowhead property for sale. In addition, the MLS describes in great detail, all of these listed properties. An MLS listing typically has one or more photos of the property and detailed specifications including, the asking price, how long the home has been listed, lien information if applicable, the date the home was built, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, if the property has a garage, etc.
